Your First Visit

Your first visit includes a one-on-one consultation with one of the doctors, including digital photographs, x-rays and a thorough orthodontic examination – all at no charge. We do this because it’s the best way to determine your specific needs and create your customized treatment plan. Before your first visit you may want to explore other pages on our website, including frequently asked questions, information about our famous SMILE Passports patient rewards program, and more about our flexible financial options.

Types of Braces
damon system

The Damon® System provides a nice alternative to braces treatment. This system often requires fewer office visits and uses lighter forces that can make treatment more comfortable, but what really sets treatment with the Damon® System apart is the experience and philosophy of treatment that our doctors apply to each individual patient.

Damon® Clear combines the look and comfort you demand with the strength and functionality you need. Damon® Clear provides completely discreet self-ligation brackets designed with Polycrystalline alumina (PCA) material, which resists staining from coffee, mustard, red wine and other agents. The advanced passive self-ligation technology with low-ligation force minimizes frictional resistance and allows teeth to move efficiently.

Invisalign gives you straight teeth – without braces. Using a custom-made series of clear “aligners”, Invisalign allows you to improve your smile without anyone knowing you’re in treatment. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements that the doctors at Smile Orthodontics plan for you. Why see an orthodontic specialist for Invisalign? Because treatment planning and careful analysis of how each tooth will move and how the bite will change takes expert and specialized training. Now more than ever, orthodontists are able to correct bite problems as well. Our doctors will let you know if you are a candidate at your complimentary examination. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you have the confident smile you’ve always wanted.

Worried about having metal braces for Prom, yearbook photos, or playing sports? Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible and most people do not even notice them. Since they are removable, you can eat what you want without any worry of breaking a bracket or rubber band.

Invisalign aligners do not interfere with your daily life, since they are:

  • -Clear – Virtually invisible and do not show up in photos
  • -Removable – Eat what you want, when you want
  • -Maximum Comfort – Since the aligners gradually shift your teeth, Invisalign is extremely comfortable to wear
  • -Customized – Each set is specific to you, so they are optimized for fast results
The Famous Smile Passport

We think orthodontic treatment should be fun – no matter the age of the patient. That’s why we’ve created our Passport 2 Smiles Program. It’s a great way to engage kids in the process and it’s fun for adults too.

Here’s how it works:
